The ARTSY Breast Lump Examination Trainer is a realistic clinical skills simulator designed for the Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga Department of BAMS colleges. It enables students to develop competency in the systematic clinical examination of the breast and the identification of normal and abnormal breast findings through hands-on practice. The trainer provides a safe, realistic, and repeatable learning environment where learners can master breast examination techniques before examining actual patients.
Designed in accordance with Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) and NCISM/MESAR 2024 guidelines, the simulator replicates the anatomical structure and tissue consistency of the female breast with multiple palpable lesions. Students can learn correct inspection and palpation techniques, identify breast lumps of varying sizes and consistencies, and understand the importance of early detection of breast diseases.
